ABOUT ME
It was in 2013 that I began my career at a luxury handbag start-up in Portugal. Over the next four years, I was fortunate to learn the fundamentals of leatherwork, development and production from a retired expert with a 20-year career at Louis Vuitton craftsman. I benefited from learning design from a Design Director with experience at Prada and Hermes. And also gained valuable insight into brand-building and strategy from the founder's entrepreneurial vision. The brand was showcased at Harrods and Selfridges for four seasons.
Driven by both design and business, I then pursued a Master’s in Fashion Accessories Design and Management in Milan before stepping into the world of big brands. After a brief time at Trussardi, I joined Jimmy Choo, first leading the Evening bags category and later transitioning to Day bags as the department evolved, reporting directly to a new director with 12 years of experience at Gucci. Over the past 6 years, I have played a major role in establishing JIMMY CHOO as the strong player in the handbag market that it is today.
Passionate about quality craftsmanship, sustainability and the creation of unique, impactful pieces; I provide consultancy and work on collaborative projects that are looking to grow, establish their brand and make their mark.
